Key Milestones in Our History

1991

Shortly after its establishment, Infocom began building Ukraine's first national data transmission network, "UkrPack," as only public telephone networks existed at the time.

Through international partnerships with Datex-P (Germany) and Sprint (USA), Infocom gained access to over 120 data networks. For the first time in Ukraine, financial institutions were connected to the SWIFT electronic banking system.

1996

Infocom became a provider of Internet access and continued developing the UkrPack network. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and leading banks used UkrPack for access to the NBU settlement chamber and international banks.

2000

Collaboration with global operators Infonet and Global One began.

The UkrPack network expanded to district centers, connecting 120 major Ukrainian cities.

Infocom introduced corporate VPN solutions with QoS (Quality of Service) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) metrics.

2009

UkrPack included 700+ communication nodes in regional and district centers.

Infocom implemented the MPLS technology and launched a high-speed (1 Gbps) Kyiv city network, "UkrPack Metro Kyiv," which received an award from Cisco Systems Ukraine as the "Metro Network of the Year."

Deployment of new 10-100 Mbps channels to regions, enhancing connectivity and data transmission speeds.

National licensing for radio frequency resources enabled services using WiMAX and long-range Wi-Fi technologies.

2019

Infocom underwent rebranding, expanding services to include cybersecurity and next-generation networks based on SD-WAN technology.

The innovative biometric identification system ManuScan was introduced.

Infocom became a partner of Fortinet, a global leader in cybersecurity.
